We may be able to identify visible wiring damage. However, if you already suspect wiring damage (i.e. your lights are flickering), it’s always a good idea to call a licensed electrician.
Can you repair the damaged areas?
Yes, most of the time - if we can’t do it, we will recommend a qualified contractor who can. Proper repair is extremely important as it is only way to prevent the problem from happening again.
Can you identify and repair other potential problem spots?
Yes. If we see something that we think could be a problem in the future, we will bring it to your attention and let you decide if you would like us to repair it or not.
How many cages do you set?
Every job is unique; no two animals or homes are the same. Based on the situation, we will determine the appropriate type and number of traps to use. We typically use at least two traps.
Where do you set cages?
It depends on what type of animal we are trying to catch. If you have squirrels in your attic, we will set cages on the roof near the entry hole. If you have skunks, we will set cages at the entrance to the hole on the ground. Each scenario is different!
Will skunks spray when they get caught?
We use specially designed skunk traps that are almost completely enclosed so that when we catch a skunk it is safe to carefully walk by the cage without the skunk spraying. However it is best to avoid disturbing the cage in any way to avoid being sprayed.
How long does it take to remove a raccoon with kits from a chimney? Is it safe for the raccoons?
Removal of a raccoon family from a chimney is a multi-step process. We specialize in humane eviction techniques, prompting the female raccoon to remove her kits with as little human involvement as possible. This process usually happens overnight, but can take several nights for the female to find a new suitable location for her den site. After removal we typically install a chimney cap to prevent future problems.
How do I contact my technician once trapping has started?
Your technician will provide you with their cell phone number. You may call/text at any time of day or night. If needed, leave a message and your call will be returned promptly. You may also send you technician email if you have a non-emergency question.
What days of the week do you pick up catches?
Our pickup schedule varies and we can make arrangements to accommodate your needs.
How quickly will you respond if I get a catch?
We make every effort to pick up your animal as quickly as possible.
